"Novellario" is a new kind of catalogue about the Post and postage stamps in Italy, but also about the other aspects of philately, and everything in its historical, social and cultural background.

The 2nd volume, devoted to one of the highest moments of Italian Post, between the birth of the Ministry of Posts and the end of World War I, and full of conquests, splendours and tragedies, focuses on the best of the original and innovative layout of "Enciclatalogue", allowing to discover, in a chronological crescendo, the birth of new and unusual postal services and of new types of postage stamps, postal stationery and other charming revenue stamps, used in the Italian Post Offices (on those days open also outside Italy) and in those of military.
